Kazakhstan the richest country in the central Asia. For example.. Almaty city GDP is bigger than GDP of all central Asian countries together. Kazakhstan standard of living is higher than in Russia.

Great vlog!! This looks like the United States circa 2000 and it brings back nostalgia for me. Our malls in the United States were super busy back then. Some of them are still busy but we are increasingly running into malls that are disappearing. We have a term for them and that is "dead malls". Even pre-COVID many Americans were choosing to shop Amazon over going to the mall. It is neat to see the mall spirit alive and well in Kazakhstan.

I remember these malls. It was cold as hell outside because it was January lol. My ex (from Kazakhstan) wanted to get Uggs for her and her sister, we couldn't find them anywhere until we went to Dostyk Mall.

cool malls too..MALLS r fmous here in Philippines coz we r tropical country and malls provide us of free AC..hehe.i think we hav 3 of the top10 biggest mall in the world. recently the biggest IKEA was also open for business here..just continue showing the world what Kazakhstan are made of..

the malls here where i live are pretty much dead. The closest one to me doesnt have as many people as it used to. Another mall i used to go to, got turned into a community college. I remember long time ago where the mall was the place to be to hang with homies sometimes on weekends.

Wow, it has changed so much since I lived there in 2000/01. I shopped at Ramstore and TSUM, and there was a place for imported goods called Interfoods. That was it. Although I lived in the centre, so I guess I'd have needed a car to get to the further-out ones. Ramstore was fine. I bought all my VHS tapes there of recent releases. Is TSUM still there in the centre?
