Love my Slam Shady's!! Love catching Flounder, and they are a Must have when fishing Flounder!! Reds Destroy them as well!! And Now that the Snook bit is on?, They seem to Love them Too!!! The windy/murky detail is really interesting to me because I was sight fishing recently and I watched multiple snook charge down my paddle tail and then turn off of it. But as soon as I switched to a fluke, and dragged it almost on the bottom with little twitches super slowly, I got them to bite it. I think they were turned on by the vibration, but then it ended up being too much, but the finesse tactic in front of the snook’s face worked

Thanks for the NO woMAN BUN, Luke! I admit I’d be disappointed if you showed up with one. I’m not homophobic, long hair &/or ponytails are fine. The (wo)Man Bun is imho not a good look on a guy. On another note, Luke’s “Pinky Method” of tying an FG knot wins hands down in speed, ease and quality!! I’ve tried other ways & was successful (big) BUT that first knot/twist is so important & the overall quality is the best. Getting that first knot/twist to dig into the mono saves distance. Plus, I’ve found it stops knot failure much more than the hand only (less tension) FG tying methods no matter if you pull really tight after forming your knot. Writing this you mentioned your Depth Cheat Sheet. Used it to help me decide in a new fish off a boardwalk situation after being unsuccessful. Wham! Bam! It worked! THANKS!!

I catch huge bass in Lake Tarpon, FL with Salt Strongs 3 1/2"slam shadys rigged weedless with a weighted hook. I catch Trout on the flats with these Slam Shadys also.

I have a similar one of those Blue Eddie different brand I it really comes in dandy when sleeping at a overnight spot like Cracker Barrel or so you can run a fan to keep cool and not need to run your generator for AC to be cool that night then charge it up in your tow truck next day going down the road
