Marine fish keeping is not for beginners. It is not only very expensive to make an aquarium (it is approx 3 to 5 times the cost of freshwater aquariums) but maintainence and fish costs are very high. It is a hobby only for very experienced fish hobbyists and those who have money to spend. Moreover marine fish are intolerant if water parameters are not perfect and will die very quickly. They are also very difficult to treat if they fall sick. Some fish in this video will not live in an aquarium for more than 2 months even after water parameters are near perfect. Eg long nose yellow butterfly, copper banded butterfly, mandarin fish etc. These fish which don't last long will be cheap compared to other fish. Even some dwarf angel fish Wil not survive in the aquarium for long. Number of fish eat cyclops and sponges which is an exclusive diet not available easily.

@@swapnanta1 depends on size of tank. For marine fish density is much lower than freshwater fish. For eg if in a 4 feet tank one can keep approx 8 to 12 freshwater fish depending on size. For a marine tank of same size 6 to 8 fish can be kept depending on size. For marine tank one will need very good filtration eg cannister filter and also an over head filter. Filtration should be such that in 1 hour the entire water in the aquarium needs to be recycled atlet 5 to 7 times. Ideally for marine aquariums one should use a sump. So in marine tank other than the aquarium, lights and excellent filtration one will require coral sand, protein skimmer, live rocks, volcanic rocks, thermometer, heater of excellent quality, tjer should be no metal in the aquarium cover as also anywhere in or around the aquarium. Since marine water is salt water it evaporates much more quicker than freshwater so keep the aquarium slightly at a distance from the walls otherwise the walls will get wet. Use excellent filter media eg ceramic rings, bio balls, sponges, marble stones etc etc along with test kits for nitrite, nitrate, ammonia and a salinity meter.. Special aquarium tubelights to grow Corraline algae. You Wil also need someone who can help you out when u have a problem. Most fish shops have very little knowledge 9f aquarium fish and their maintainence.

@@swapnanta1 with 3K you can setup back sump and materials (2 by 1 by 1 tank) without protein skimmer. Watch DIY back/side sump FYR. Local Damsel like yellow tail and captive bred Percula clowns can be kept.

But whether it will work over a longer duration and with such a small marine tank scope of variety of fish and chances of failure will be very high. Without sounding pessimistic if someone really want to go ahead he can and gain the experience for himself.
