When I heard home say he asked them to go get the fish and they said NO, I KNEW it was FedEx. 20 years ago FedEx was great, now they're absolutely the worst. Their drivers are super rude too. I haven't had good experiences with the at all. UPS has been much better. Oh no, the Blue Tang..... I hope Mark had you install a UV. Blue Tangs and Ich get along like Forrest Gump and Bubba!!

What's the small yellow fish? My guess is a canary blenny, but I couldn't get a good enough look at it.

Not to be a downer but are those light going to be enough for the clam? I know it a Derasa but mine get 300 par on the sand bed. Much less and they die. I couldn't keep them until I got a par meter them I knew why I couldn't keep them before.

It will probably be ok. I kept a large derasa in a 60 cube for years under one Kessil 360WE set at 65% intensity. So they can live under lower PAR, but that doesn't mean they should. If you can provide more then you should. Current PAR for my Derasa about 330 on the Sandbed and it's doing great.

@@mrmud Where did I say those two lights wee going to generate 300 PAR? I said I used to keep one under a single Kessil 360WE and currently I have another Derasa under dual 250w MH and 2 Illumagic Blaze X 90 LEDs. The LEDs are a combined 470w. I schedule them to run at different times of course. I agree that his two lights in the video are VERY weak for that tank and shouldn't even be on it. I can't imagine who recommended those to Jimmy.

We don't know what type of clam it is. However I personally would have placed it on a half oyster shell for the byssal threads to attach. Not sure that will work well on the sand/substrate. At least that is what I did for my Maxima. Dr. Mac (Pacific East Aquaculture) has some great videos on clam care as that is one of his specialty.

@@saf1671 I absolutely know what type of clam it is, it's a Derasa clam. Derasa clams lose their byssus gland early on. The Crocea and Maxima have the attaching threads. A Derasa sits on the Sandbed and doesn't need a mount.

Size gives it away. Biota. That is the only source of Yellow Tangs today unless you buy from a fellow hobbyist who is getting rid of one. Biota captive bred / raised are small upon arrival and a bit translucent in color. They grow at a nice clip and shortly won't be able to tell the difference between natural and captive.
