I’m confused on how this would remotely work when you have a tank on the opposite side of the house where the RODI system is being used… Sounds more like a more expensive way to automate and having to buy more product.

Add to the fact the XP8 will cycle the power sockets if it loses power or connection and also does it randomly from time to time which means you can't leave mains water or something that can overflow connected to it. This issue is "usually" fine for a return pump but not a RO unit or mixing station. You would also have to buy a separate Hydros system to put out at your mix station as the collective doesn't work wirelessly as it requires a cable to be run between devices for this to work, so monitoring it in the app means you need to swap between services on the app or have 2 devices, one view of the mixing and one of the aquarium.... That is before you take into account any decent RO unit has a controller already so.....
