nice vid. maybe do a followup where you show how closed loops are generally built and situated as i am on the fence between going for closed loop or powerheads for my upcoming 9ft fowlr project.

Horrible video. Let's see it. Or give us a BASIC idea how they are made

All of these reefing pundits are just selling us stuff. BRs is bad enough, Now Saltwater Aquarium is following suit. The pendulum swings back though. The economy is tanking again. Only the so called Elite can afford this stuff. How many of them are there that enjoy this hobby?

Heck of a tank ! Have we had a tour ? I'll check

Now I definitely understand the closed loop system my tank is a Proclear 60 the 4 small power heads really do get the job done

Very interesting. I think if I ever build another tank, even though it would be small enough for powerheads to do the job, I would still consider a closed-loop. Anything to reduce the clutter on the tank walls is a bonus. Just need to think about the aquascaping ahead of the build

For info on my previous peninsula tank I had a couple of tunze power heads hidden mid tank in ceramic rocks. That worked well and the only downside was removing them a couple of times a year for maintenance.

you could also pass a pipe or tube of a closed loop through the substrate🦊

Nice video Mark , I've got a completely different kind of flow design in my tank you might be interested in 🤔 6ft x 3ft peninsula with no visible pumps, cables or wires and 150,000lph of flow 💪

Any vids, thinking of setting up a 6x3x2 peninsula

@leighwhite1898 I've done a brief video on my channel but I've changed a few bits in the tank the way the flow works etc

Disappointed you didn't show us where the inlets and outlets were hidden in your tank. Not only for just seeing where they were, but for an explanation of how you place corals around them to allow good growth while not getting blasted.
