That honestly annoyed me. It's one thing being so mad you damage a controller. It's another thing to attack a player physically for it. He should be penalized for that gravely. That said, its at least not AS pathetic as getting toxic around somebody while commentating (5:30) when you're clearly not under the pressure of a competitor, and thus have no excuse for your behavior.

I wonder if it has something to do with the fact that you're usually not using much physical energy to play these sorts of games. like, you're fully zoned-in but barely moving so these emotions come through with 100% energy. contrast to sports, where you might be mad but you're just _spent_ from running/fighting/whatever. even then, sports rage might seem more tame in comparison because there's so much activity already. with vidya it's just nothingness into explosive frustration and it's just very jarring.

@thomasc.52195 жыл бұрын
Anybody who smashes controllers or screams in frustration while at the stations should be automatically disqualified. Maybe then we can reign in these cucks who get so mad about a kids game. Like seriously you gonna throw a fit cause your jiggly puff got beat by twin Eskimos?? You realize how pathetic that is. The smash community needs to get laid cause the sexual frustration is reaching critical levels. But of course they can't get girls cause none of them shower. When on camera at these tournaments, all their faces and hair look so greasy it's disgusting. The rooms always smell so bad. I know in my city a hotel that hosted fighting game tournaments banned anymore video game tournaments of any kind cause of the smash community and their refusal to keep up basic hygiene. The smash players emailed them complaining how it was unfair that they are being told what to do with their own bodies while women get to keep getting abortions to murder babies and they aren't forced to keep it. That community is just a bunch of incels who take a stupid video game so seriously that they were threating to take revenge against the hotel for taking away their monthly get together. Well it backfired on them cause now no one in the area is willing to have them because of their actions. I thinks that's the problem with these prone to rage players. They never had parents that would teach them a lesson for getting out of line. They think it's okay to act like a moron in public. Shows they have zero discipline in them.

However, you’re also at a public event, one where there is expectations and rules and regards to the people watching, the other players, and the organizers. Are you really so entitled enough to say you’re justified in that kind of violent and childish rage? There’s a difference in being understandably upset because of the emotions and stakes and just straight up being a shitty baby-man loser. If you can’t handle yourself like a professional, then don’t jump into the competitive scene.

Makuta S-V | How in the fuck was I ever being passive aggressive? I’m literally calling you on your bullshit, you fucking idiot. Stop throwing shit out if isn’t even relevant nor true. Be a man, take your loss, learn and work harder. It’s a fucking sport, you lazy pussy, and there’s rules of conduct when it comes to that shit.
@kingjaffa6184 жыл бұрын
@@makutas-v261 I think that's not a great excuse, there is a standard of reasonableness and all of these people have fallen far below it. Everyone has their moments sure but clearly these players have a very low threshold and are quite sensitive, most likely by always giving into these outbursts rather than addressing them. Though everyone has a breaking point, but if it happens consistently it needs to be addressed. Being a "robot" is just an extreme, there is a midground.
