I don't mean to seem rude or anything, but I would like to share my opinion. Personally I think that the only thing "not fun" is telling people how they are allowed to enjoy the game. You really can't fault someone for playing a good deck. If you want to play rouge, great, but by playing rouge you are going to have to accept that you will lose more & you will need to deal with meta decks. People have different definitions of fun. While you might enjoy using your rouge deck, someone else enjoys using their meta deck. And it is silly to try and tell other people what to do. That's my stance, I'm not attacking anyone just sharing my opinion in a discussion.

I usually accept loss gracefully when playing my main deck, because I know these things: - I’m not great at putting hand traps in the deck - Most of my Spell/Trap removal is done by monsters - Losing is part of the fun. My favourite games are the ones with back and forth struggles, not a break my board scenario - By losing, I learn where I went wrong and can learn new interactions and change the ratio of cards - It’s Dinowrestlers. I don’t think I need to explain this one.

@@greedow you all need to balance your decks to suit you into being an at least playable deck in the competitive world of yugioh (talking about rogue-ish decks like GE7's dinowrestlers deck) you should try and make your deck as consistent as possible (if your deck doesnt have much search power then put draw engines like pot of desires or pot of extravagance to make up for the missing search support) and make your decks as close to 40 cards as possible (unless you purposely play 60 cards) then you need to find space for handtraps or go second cards (at least 6-9 in a 40 card deck) so you can stand up going second against powerful decks.

Pendulum made it really fun to play as you could summon monsters new and old all at the same time For the older creatures you act by their level stars and older texts as they do not have the pendulum diamonds to set scales and they would be treated as scale 0
@Darkfenrir003 жыл бұрын
@@stevenjordan3839 l'm sorry if you are a pendulam card lover or user but l always hated them mainly because after they came out turns started taking way too long to finish which made me lose interest because as a vet from the og game rules before synchro, xyz, pendulam and link monsters you could have fun with a duel without making the turns last forever since it was deathmatch games with 4000 LP startings it really made the game more of strategy instead now its like "Oh well l am gonna take a 2 hour turn and win with a 2 hour turn aaaaaaaaaaannnnnnnnndddd done."
@stevenjordan38393 жыл бұрын
@@Darkfenrir00 It's ok, I have yet to find a deck recipe or method im confident in as I am currently relearning the game through link evolution and I haven't dueled formally since the 5th grade where I came from a school district that had no tolerance for the cards, with the game having grown as it has those attitudes may or may not have changed I remember the original rules as well having grown up with those, I haven't forgotten and as with anything a fan adapts with the times Pendulums can make a turn take longer than normal to finish as what you do with them matters depending on which effect you play, if you play them in the pendulum zones you are following the pendulum effect if the creature has any at all or not They return to the extra deck if they are destroyed on the pendulum zones meaning as you said they are capable of coming out forever if left unchecked if they are played on the monster zones you play by the monster effect which is line 1 of the text of those cards, they than are treated as any other monster card by going to the graveyard Synchro I am trying to attain confidence in that as a summoning method, fusion im fairly confident in, XYZ I can do fairly well and have yet to try with creatures above rank 4 Link I haven't completely learned, so my confidence on relearning it completely would be with pendulum Pendulum needs to play on its core strength of going beyond the scale which means I need to be confident in fusion, synchro, xyz, ritual, itself, I am assuming doing a link from a pendulum is not a legal move as you have the greater experience here with gameplay. pendulum can cause both the above of deathmatch+2 hour turn if you aren't proficient with the cards and or their effect text lines on either part of the card, I've played a couple times on link evolution with these and I have learned quickly with these you have to be clear with what you want with them for strategy and they create their own luck and consequences. As there are no coin flip pendulum cards, strategy matters and as there is exactly one dice pendulum ghost beef the only luck you can have is from that or that pumpkin card is the other one capable of granting luck the TCG/OCG would use 8000 LP to cause the above outcome with those cards, the anime does 4000 along with DL when ARC-V comes in there formally if at all.

It's actually more common than you think, i mean people go out of their way to buy cards and try new decks and combinations. SOME times is even to just make a deck of their favorite monster (the fun deck gag), but it's still salty since you shouldn't be playing with a deck you haven't fully tested yet.

A lot of the people at my locals have a deck we use for tournaments, and then other decks for goofing off or lower powered casual play. The closest I think i see to that quote is when we're all trying to play casual decks and someone whips out something closer to the level of our tournament decks.

Man this is so relatable, the line I use a lot is "My deck hates me!". Anyone can be salty all they want, it's normal but don't ever get physical cuz that just crosses the line.

I remember making some salty. I was playing a lvl 1 turbo deck, and he was playing weather painters. I managed to deck my opponent out through a bunch of hand traps like battle fader, numerous Kuribohs, and a gravity bind. When I took game one, he was pissed. I said good game, and asked if he was ready for round 2. He just said “no, no more” and just scoops.
