I have Bubba thumps and rambos. I was lighting them one at a time, alternating back and forth, and I prefered and thought the bubba thumps did better and were louder. Most people would say that's not possible but me and my wife both thought so.

I make canister shells and rockets from scratch. The length of the mortar can absolutely have an effect on lift height. Beyond a certain point though it's marginal. The composition and mesh size of the lift charge will also play a role. Double plays are sweet to throw in a rack with a faster fuse. Single breaks are obviously louder but you def wont be disappointed. I used my last box over the weekend and everyone loved em. I haven't shot headhunters but I'm sure they're good enough. Imo there's not much of a difference between most of the salute cans
