What a fantastic, soulful arrangement of one of the greatest 80s songs out there. Perfect voice for the song and as for the guitar! I'm jealous! Love it! :D

this is just great. jeans, guitar, a chair on a railroad (someaht random), this guys voice and skills, and a higher love. i can't believe i only just discovered this band! i mean nick's voice is soulful, but the whole band is just tight, funky, full of joy and anointed by the Lord. God bless them all.
Goosebumps! Major Goosebumps! I've always loved this Winwood song, but that beautiful voice has brought it new meaning. Great video!

@@mrfester42 ...which are off camera most of the time, as you can see.
@mrfester424 жыл бұрын
@@rogerbymolt Like most pop music, the phrases repeat themselves. You don't nee to see every second of what his hands are doing to get it. If there are any small parts that are missing and you can't use your ear to get it then this piece is above your ability level. I''m mentioning all this because anyone with a strong desire to learn will learn to figure it out for them,selves. THAT is what makes you a better player. Don't look for others to do it for you. Do it for yourself. If this song is too difficult for you there's nothing wrong with that. Stick to what you can figure out for yourself and after some time you'll see that your "ear" gets better at it. If you want it enough, you WILL come back in 6 months or 2 years and find you can figure it out for yourself. PLUS< you'll have sense of pride which will motivate you even more.
@adrianbrown83144 жыл бұрын
@@mrfester42 so you haven't worked it out either then?
@mrfester424 жыл бұрын
@@adrianbrown8314 Oh geez! NO, I haven't worked it out because i haven't tried and I haven't tried because I'm just not interested in playing this song but what does THAT have to do with anything I wrote? I'm always seeing posts like that one where someone is asking how to play something or asking for the chords for a piece of music. If you want to become a better musician, there's no way around it. It requires work. It requires attempting something difficult and sweating it out. Listen and watch and figure it out for yourself. When you learn to play a piece of music from someone giving you the chords and telling you every move to make you don't become a musician. You become a technician. That is NOT how to learn music. Train your ear by listening and trying it yourself. You're going to get it wrong more times than you get it right at the beginning but that will change if you persist. If doing it that way makes you want to give up then learning music and an instrument is not for you. If, despite the difficulty and annoyance, you want to continue and you keep trying then you will absolutely become better at it.
