"I know I'm a little bit aggressive" mans has terrible plate discipline, not as bad as Javy Baez but Baez walks more cause pitchers throw more waste pitches. I know he's had at least one year with a walk rate in the 2%s. If he actually drew BB his hall of fame case would be very real. Will end up being a Royals hall of famer no matter what though.

My problem with this is if you're walking with runners on base that shit is worth 0. Nothing. Waste of a plate appearance. I'd take the guy that swings

@@rellsogorgeousnah bro…. Walking at any time is very valuable. Put pressure on the pitcher. Force them to throw strikes. Have trust in the next man. Also, hitters can narrow their pitch selection down easier with 2 guys on base vs one guy on base. Take what the pitcher gives you every time.

I also agree walks are overrated but OBPs under .300 are not underrated. Nor is it a pretty sight. He's had a couple of those. He's had overall some years with disgusting plate discipline numbers. How he remains productive as a hitter is a testament to his power and his ability to hit pitches that aren't strikes.

Watching them call a curveball a slider like 5 times is a bit... cringe. It's written right there on the screen and it's moving like a curveball. I ain't blaming Salvy cause he was looking at the guys not the screen but DeRo you're better than that.
