@@DovetailTimberworks the anderson looks like an more affordable option I am just getting started for a new fire wood processing. Start up costs will be my biggest advisorie

That is why I went for the Anderson machine. I had no need for industrial scale equipment but I wanted very well made and high quality. The Anderson machine is designed extremely well and does everything it's supposed to do perfectly. Good luck!

With the hydraulic power pack and the winch it's in the neighborhood of $27K but just a trailer and loader to run off of your tractor hydraulics is $ 21800. As a furniture maker and timber framer who burns firewood, I'll get that out of it before I even scratch the paint.
