It’s both delightful and surreal to see you mention my comment from the earlier video. You inspired me to recently do something similar as I drove around Utah and Northern California, visiting remote places and forcing myself to make the most of every opportunity in front of me. While I’ll miss the videos, Jake, I’m super proud of you for turning the camera off. I hope everyone who left a comment about how bummed they are will replace your weekly videos with adventures of their own. Excited for whatever/whenever you post in the future, and I’m very happy for you as you reconnect with friends and family. Thank you Jake! You definitely made the most of it.

I have to say, Jake, this was one of your most entertaining videos you’ve shared. So many funny moments when you were riding. Add to that your honesty, the cinematic segments, etc. I fully get you getting burned out with making videos while traveling, have you thought about having someone doing the editing for you? I’d be more than happy to help you out with editing. Feel free to reach out if you’d like to chat. From a fellow “former traveler” and New Englander to another, safe travels!

I really believe that once you get some R&R you will have to quench your thirst for more. Maybe next time you will bring a companion along, or even a crew to lighten your load. Definitely an upgrade is in order. You made it 6 months longer than I could have done. You should be commended for all your efforts! Thanks for the ride buddy!❤

As so many others have said, seeing that you’ve made an upload puts a big smile on my face and something to look forward to! We are all sad that we won’t get that little notification for a while but totally understand! Sometimes when your passion becomes your job, it takes a bit of the enjoyment out. I’ve loved watching your excitement for every adventure and soaking up the good and bad experiences. Your editing and filmmaking has come such a long way in the past 6 months! That being said, don’t underestimate the power of short vlog updates. Something like 5-10 minutes at the end of the day. I followed the “Purple Pilgram” on his adventure up to Alaska from Ohio. He posted very basic vlogs and I really enjoyed them! The cinematic stuff is great, but if you can find a happy medium of doing your adventure and documenting it without the big editing cloud hanging over your head, that’s a win-win. Excited to see what your next adventures and projects bring! Stay safe!

Ain't gonna lie. I'm super bummed to see you head back home. I totally understand, but I was so hoping to watch you adventure through Canada and into Alaska. Something you see in career content creators that do one thing and one thing only is either burnout or lunacy. Catching your burnout early and being honest about it is huge, not only for you, but for your audience as well. I think it's safe to speak for everyone when I say we all just want to see you succeed happily. Well done dude :)

You know, I am sorry for the dirt bike trips ending, but I know you will succeed at whatever you do . As a musician I always wanted to see Europe, to marvel in its architecture and beauty. Your vids showed me how much I miss around me. I now don't care about Europe, I know it is beautiful, it's people great but I want to see small towns and countryside here. Your vids and that of others showing our own country have changed me for the better. Incidentally, I bought a dual sport Honda and at 63 I will begin soon. Thank you.

oh man, that hits kind of hard 😅. I can completely understand your decision, but it still makes me a little bit sad. I don't know you and you don't know me, and yet you've been with me a lot over the last six months and I loved your videos. The way you appreciate the big AND the small things is a great quality and I haven't found many of them here on KZbin so far. The way you cut and edit the videos fits in so perfectly with your personality. Calm and unexcited in your being but a lot of excitement for your enviroment and people arround you, packed in great pictures and great impressions. And then there's you again, who radiates such enthusiasm that I would have loved to just get on a plane and go with you. I'll miss you and your videos here, and I'm looking forward to, when you're back. Enjoy the rest of your trip and have fun getting your family back!

Jake great job! Don’t stop filming!! It’s the hassle of going through and processing your content that’s the hassle. I get it. But log all your experiences for you! Don’t lose that. I get the loneliness of the road also. It’s hard. I was basically on the road for 13 years after college building my business. Europe Asia Africa and around the states. Saw the sights. Made friends but you still feel alone. But again record what you do for you. Now that the 4 kids have grown I’m putting together a sprinter van to travel around follow my son around on baseball roadtrips and see friends around the states and explore again I’ll look you up if I get to the northeast!! Take care and God Bless
