We aren’t allowed to go to church right now but before this Covid 19 mess I didn’t go to church much anymore the church I went to is about an hour away I can’t find a true bible believing church near me very thankful for your sermons

Interesting sermon. Are the people who mock our gospel as fire insurance the same people who are saying we should not preach on hell? In the case of Osteen, it seems to be true. For him, God is too good to send people to hell, but he is not good enough to accept us as we are. Figure that.

That's what I don't like about most preachers, especially all of the big names nowadays particular in the reformed camp. They mock the Gospel of Jesus as we believe/preach it as "fire insurance," and to me that is disgusting... The whole reason Jesus came into this world to die for our sins was so we didn't have to go to hell, so they can call it whatever they want, make fun of it, I do not care. The purpose of Jesus making the payment was so we didn't have to ourselves by spending eternity in hellfire.

I have been thinking of this a lot the last few months. I live in the middle of nowhere and work on a farm. I'm not around very many people. I ask God all the time on how I can serve him. I haven't gotten an answer. I feel like my Christian life has been nothing but a wast when it comes to serving God.

Everyone has a freedom to choose .. do U have a relationship with your wife .. did U just marry her because U love her .. or did U just married to her because U wanted to .. there's a action when U love someone .. true? The problem with that is that making Jesus "Lord of your life" is WORKS!! The Bible says we're saved through faith alone on Jesus Christ!! That's salvation!! Now serving the Lord AFTER you're saved is when that would come into play, not to be saved, but because you ARE SAVED!!
