Yes, more resonance just gives more time. Usually on the final phase people do only 1 circuit just to bank 1 resonance.

We haven't done proper testing with that yet, but from what I've seen if everyone but the person chosen to dunk dies after witness notices, the encounter insta completes without any dunks being needed

Still hunt with celestial nighthawk, apex predator with reconstruction and explosive light, 2x solar surges and 1x solar holster. Shoot sniper goldie then shoot all 5 remaining shots in the mag and swap to rocket and shoot 2 shots. Wait half a second then swap back to sniper, which will have the last shot needed to fill the goldie bar, and repeat.

If you mean during dps, the attacks always cover half of the damage area, so if the first attack is bottom right the next one will be top left. You basically just move to where an attack just happened since they cant happen in the same place twice in a row

Obviously not ideal but I am glad that even in a speedrun the scammy reality of the Witness's telegraphing is on display and how you can get screwed over by the game's ravioli code of stuff that shouldn't have killed you. It can be so finnicky and I feel for anybody sherpa-ing who are trying to explain you could do nothing wrong or be slightly off, and the game computes it as if you goofed.
