I am a life long New Yorker - - in the 80's, riding in a taxi was a fun experience - - it was great to chat up the driver. With cell phones, all you hear is the driver speaking an unknown language. Lee took me home yesterday - - what fun it was to learn about his opera career and his world travels, including his farm in Minnasota. Lee is so nice and warm.

Best NYC cab ride ever!!! Bravo Lee Roisum! Having a Verdi tenor for a cab driver is a real treat. I wish he was my uncle! What a great sense of humour. Lutefisk!

Met Lee today when I took his cab home. Had a great conversation: mostly talked myself. I never asked him to sing ---- oh what a fool, me!

Met him to, really an awsome guy. He sang for us in the cab and everything... I'm from sweden, and after spending just 5 hours in New York I meet an opera-singing cab driver that speaks a little swedish and decides to sing for us. Only in New York right?
