Thanks Jenny! It does show how spectacularly amazing it is around Tongyeong, doesn't it? Four months to go for us and we're really going to miss it too.

@@GoingTheWholeHogg Hi, Kim and Del, I'm much interested in traveling to Georgia next year, so I happened to see your videos and found that the videos you produced are THE BEST of the best I've seen so far, so far as shootings of Georgia are concerned. However, today, I was very happy to accidentally stumble upon your videos on KZbin of your visit to Korea. I thought you were a KZbinr living in a distant country, but since you visited Korea, I also thought that you were my close friends. How did you like traveling Korea? As a Korean, I wish to show you the beautiful Korean landscapes that I took myself: kzbin.info/door/w-dgforV27Gt6yv2LK3W5A

Wonderful! 외국인들은 대단하네 한국인들도 잘 모르는 사량도를 가네요. 4:22 When I have been there 18 years ago, there is no safe rail. And wind was so powerful. You should be lie prone. 7:18 That stair location There was many people had dead. But now well made stair. Maybe 75 degree slope. And 30m. twice stairs.
@GoingTheWholeHogg3 жыл бұрын
Wow, 18 years ago, that sounds so scary! I don't think I could have hiked this route without the railing. And I hate that staircase, but now I appreciate it because at least there is one, unlike before! Thanks for watching and happy to hear you enjoyed the video : ) Kim

hello. I was impressed with your sarangdo tour video. So I would like to ask you one thing. I am running a channel dealing with the reactions of foreigners in Korea. Can I use a part of this video translated into Korean? Please reply. We wish your channel to prosper.

Thank you for responding. We are going in mid of November too! I’m listing possible hiking places in Korea in our short period of time there. Hopefully we could cover this place. Looks amazing.

@@nadhiranajat2695 it's certainly our favourite day hike! Seoraksan is great too and will have beautiful colours in November. Then there's Jeju Island with Hallasan (the highest mountain in South Korea) and all the different Olle Trail routes. We've got lots of blog posts about Korea if you need some travel inspiration - www.goingthewholehogg.com/destinations/east-asia/south-korea/ Happy planning!

Hi i am going korea in oct, may i know this trip seem to be in autumn due to the color of the leave, is it very cold there? i wanna try but some parts of the hiking seem challenging, i am okay with stairs if tired just take longer time but those rocky part i might have issue as i have may not be able to balance. still able to do the hike without doing the rocky part?
@GoingTheWholeHogg5 ай бұрын
Hi, autumn is still warm in Korea and it’s a great time for hiking. It is possible to start and finish at a couple of points and so miss some of the rocky sections. The most difficult parts do have ropes to hold onto, and if you take your time, nothing is too extreme 🙂

This is why you need to get out of Seoul and explore less known part of Korea.

How long did it take you guys to hike across the whole island? And how far are the peaks from each other?
@GoingTheWholeHogg4 жыл бұрын
Kings Sly the hike takes anywhere between about 4 - 7 hours depending on your speed & how many photo stops you take! Did you find our Saryangdo hiking guide? You can read more here - www.goingthewholehogg.com/saryangdo-the-best-day-hike-in-korea/ The peaks are pretty close to each other. Are you planning to do the hike?

Going The Whole Hogg..actually I have one more question...some of my don’t have passports but they’re are US military, will they accept US Military ID for us to travel?
@GoingTheWholeHogg4 жыл бұрын
Kings Sly couldn’t say 100%, but I’m sure they will. It’s mostly for recording your name and phone number in case of any accidents or changes to the ferry schedule in bad weather. You can always call the tourist hotline and ask if it’s OK - freephone on 1330!
