It’s so comforting for me to hear about Sam & Colby’s emotional well-being. Hearing them open up about them crying not only helps men out there who feel that they can’t cry but also helps people to realise that even if their life is ‘perfect’ that it’s normal to not be happy. Thank you sm SNC we love you

About 15 years ago a local boy found a lump when he was 18 and was too embarrassed to tell his friends or family. He died and only then did they discover the massive tumour on his testicle. A life lost that may have been saved if more people talked about it without shame so I thank you for being such an advocate Colby. Every year we have a fundraiser and this year we spoke about you. You’re amazing

I agree Colby is one amazing young man love sam & colby watch them all the time. I get told the same thing I understand chronic nerve pain to hun I have had it for years now & my bowel caused it I had bowel cancer over 12 yrs ago & thankfully we caught it early but finding out I had it at 30 yrs of age shook me I was in shock for months thinking how the heck did I get this & said why but I always say there is other people out there worse off than me even though I just found out I thought about kids in hospital with cancer not even able to live life at a very young age, my bowel was still causing me issues for years so I now have no large bowel left I was in hell & I said get rid of it I don't need my bowel to live best thing I ever did was having it removed but once my surgeon went in there he said it was stuffed so made the right choice & said ok now times to move on & now I'm an award winning nail artist & beautician for over 24 yrs now love every minute of it even having a sore back & shoulders but the results make it worth while & was honoured to be asked to do nails for the red carpet tv week logie awards in 2019 & got punblished so thankfully I changed my mind set & didn't let my illness run my life & also did more studying while I was in pain it took my mind off it then started making jewellery I also started making all the cancer pendants by hand. I'm so happy that S&C help you get through it watching their videos help me alot to I have learnt so much from them about so much in the world more than I learnt in 5 yrs of high school so not only are they creators & entertainers they also educate all of us & love them even more for that sorry for the long comment but I do understand the nerve pain just wanted to give you an idea but I take alot of medication to keep me here & keep my pain down sending you lots of love & healing hun xoxo One thing I do need to do it make more videos for my KZbin channel I suck at editing them lol

I had a chronic condition causing head to toe hives for 6 years. It was like my skin was always crawling, my eyes and throat would swell. I wouldn’t go out except to work. I’ve been in remission for 7 years and now I’m 31 and look back and cannot fathom how I got through that. It seemed like a different life/person! I don’t want to compare my adversity to yours BUT I do know now that I made it through and I’m a better, more compassionate, strong person because of it. Things only make sense in hindsight. I’m praying you find your hope and get answers for your medical problem 🥰

For anyone who feels like Colby when it comes to relationships just know you aren't obligated to be in one because society says so. If you do want a relationship someday you will meet someone who changes your lone wolf mindset or someone who will meet that energy. Just don't ever settle. Y'all are valid no matter what.

Shortly after Colby posted about his surgery I felt a lump in my breast. Had my moment of panic and crying, but I took his advice to heart and took my whole cancer scare one day at a time. I'm lucky that it was merely a non-cancerous tumor but it's still scary! His story and so many other people's are exactly what needs to be talked about so more people are aware of checking themselves. If it wasn't for the awareness S&C brought, things could have been worse for me and I could have been too late to the problem.

I really get a lot out of hearing Sam and Colby speak. They are actually really intelligent and from what we are able to see, have a very stong buisness sense. I also really like hearing the imperfect parts, their fears, their doubts, that kind of thing. Despite those things they stay so driven and contine to work on their friendship along side everything else. Watching this a few months down the road from where they were at that time just makes my heart so happy. Can't wait to see where the rest of 2023 takes them and beyond.

I’m in a long distance relationship and whenever I tell people they’re always like “omg I could never”, but I agree that when you don’t get to see each other all the time, when you do get to see each other it makes those days so much more special. Also yes it can get difficult sometimes not being able to see each other when we want but I’m also a person who needs A LOT of alone time and honestly I think that’s why past relationships didn’t work out for me. Because I saw them so often. So everyone says they could never do long distance but for me/ us it’s honestly what’s worked the best and I’ve never been happier ❤
@KongPham
@KongPham 7 ай бұрын
That's really awesome to hear - I'm really happy that you were able to find something that works for you. Long-distance relationships are often stigmatized as being difficult or less fulfilling, but every relationship has its own dynamics that make it work for the people involved. Some people need constant proximity to feel secure and loved, while others, like you/me/colby, find value and even relief in having space and alone time.

The friendship these two have, I love it. It’s hard to talk about certain things sometimes, especially if you’re not sure how to open up about something. Balance between life and work is very important. Glad they figured most of that out now. Colbys cancer was a tough hit for them, but I’m that colby has such a good friend that will do anything for him. And glad he got it taken care of and is ok. On the relationship note, alone time is very important at least in my opinion. It was a very enjoyable conversation and glad we learned a little bit more about these two.

as someone who also survived cancer and saw the post he made as i was in the hospital getting chemo everyday, i understand colby. i had APL (leukemia) a rare sub type of another leukemia (AML). chemo was the worst for like 2-3 weeks and then i eventually got used to it. hair loss unlike colby was the least of my concerns i just wanted to be healthy in the end considering i was 16 at the time lol. last year around june/july my mom got the call that i was cancer free. from early january-june/july my body managed to fight it off. turned 17 in the process and turning 18 this april :)

I’m new to the channel and I just wanted to say I really appreciate and admire the way you validate their feelings. A lot of interviews are so bad you can see the tension if you know what I mean. So great job ❤

I think it’s important for us viewers to keep in mind how much actual work goes into content creators between the planning trips, videos, editing, etc

I'm glad you guys acknowledged hiking as a form of meditation. I've been trying to express that to others as well. Hiking has done a lot for me throughout my life. It grounds you and helps you think. It's like you're melting into your environment and allowing it to rebuild you

Such a great interview I really enjoyed listening to Sam and Colby about not just their careers and KZbin growth but instead their feelings and their personal likings I love how they are so honest with what they can improve on and I also realised how big of a toll social media can bring on to you and even thought your so successful and at your peak in business you may not feel that way, anyways this interview/podcast was amazing I loved every bit very interesting.
