I think this is my favourite out of all the 9 videos I have done so far 😭 Whenever I thought of season 9, it was mostly about all the drama and horrible things they say to each other.. I completely forgot that there are THIS many wholesome and wonderful moments!! And that's EXACTLY why I love doing these videos so much! 💙
+ Jody saying "you and Dean.. it's something special, don't you think" LIKE EXCUSE ME, HOW HAS THIS QUOTE COMPLETELY GONE BY ME ALL THESE YEARS?
oh and I have noticed that a few scenes have really weird quality.. I tried to fix it as much as possible but one or two scenes were still being stubborn, so I hope you'll forgive me :P
OH AND BTW I DEADASS DIDN'T EVEN OWN 9x17 ?? I HAD TO DOWNLOAD IT FOR THIS VIDEO

Another great recap! Yeah Winchester's drama in season 9 made my stomach tied in knotes but "I'm proud of us" - that always melts my heart. Jody's quote it's one of my favorite quotes about brothers.❤

You know you do that thing where you're crying and smiling and laughing at the same time, yup, that's what I was doing through this entire video. And you're right, there were so many amazing moments in season 9 which are often overlooked. I agree that this is your best season video and you did a fan- friggin- tastic job on it. Now excuse me while I watch this 10 more times.

I wish they let Sam clarify the "same circumstances, I wouldn't do the same" thing. Because fandom vilifies if even though it's really a beautiful thing. imo he didn't lie. Sam's saying he'd leave his brother at peace rather than put him through angel possession which completely broke Sam inside. And, later, Dean when Michael possessed him.

Agreed. The show kind of muddied that whole argument. When Sam says "I lied", he meant he lied about being okay with Dean going after Metatron alone. Season 9 really didn't show enough of Sam's perspective on the psychological horror he went through.

Agreed. Dean knew that the angel possession was something that Sam would not want, but he did it anyway. And I get it. It saved Sam's life, and Dean would do it again. But Dean should have given Sam an apology. Even if it was, "I'm sorry that you were hurt by what I did." Also, I think that there should have been more inclusion of the aftermath of the possession on Sam. There was a little when Cas was trying to extract Gadreel's grace for the tracking spell, when Dean was gone, and then a mention of Sam having nightmares about his hands killing Kevin, but the viewers didn't get to see that. By the end of the season, the show had made Sam into the bad guy, even though he was the one who had been hurt.

@@Paladinteacher So true! Sam's definitely more forgiving than Dean so it often comes across as if Sam does worse things even though he doesn't, thus Sam faces more consequences. It totally wouldn't take much effort to add a line in where Dean apologises or says he understands where Sam's coming from.
