The day of my HS graduation my friends were supposed to pick me up to ride together one last time. (we were supposed to get there 2 hrs early to get in line and review one last time). It had been raining for a few hours and it was bad! A few minutes before my friends got to my house my dad came in the house and asked if he could take me instead since it was an important moment. I was a little bummed I didn’t get to go with my friends but i agreed. The ceremony went as planned but I didn’t see my friends at all. We got home celebrated and i later got the news that they never made it. 2 of my friends lost their lives and I remember crying to my dad who said he had a bad feeling that whole day.
