one of the most constantly angry and rude people I've ever met and had to have too much to do with, drank beer on the daily - before and after his working day - people did call him a good bloke but overall he was a mongrel - the father of my bestie from kindergarten - he would be fun and then just vile ... Pete's reminded me of how jarring it is to be around someone like that - if I had told my parents I would not have been allowed to hang out at their place...
