Right? Hard to find now days. Pagani is probably the closest in terms of using zero plastic. Everything handle, switch, and button is machined aluminum. The leather that Bentley uses is so raw and pure that throughout some of the cars you can actually see where the cow was stung by a bee or other insect while it was alive on the farm. And people pay more for those models because they're moelre rare. Personally if I'm paying $300,000 for a car I don't want any flaws in the leather, but the concept is neat.

The original NSX inspired the mclaren f1, people were huge fans of both body types. The new NSX is tons of wasted potential. It might run decent but idk it doesnt really remind you at all of the original NSX, and thats what people were really looking for. Its also over priced, the original NSX was more of a lowkey import this is more along the lines of like a exotic flashy supercar.

Absolutely, plastic can be fine for car interiors, but at least give it proper thickness, light thin plastic feels like shit. I really feel like the passion and identity has evaporated out of car design after the 90s, and now most cars just look like the same damn car. I've been in one 80s Mercedes 300SEL with black leather upholstery, it was really nice, but I believe the best car interior would have to be the 90s V12 Toyota Century with its wool upholstery.

I had a similar experience, though thankfully not my money. I worked at an Audi dealership and drove some seriously expensive cars... but was seriously disappointed by the build quality. Just get the best quality car you can and make it your own. Design is dead and no one makes cool cars anymore.

I think every company that merges with VW gets hit hard by quality control issues for a few years after while they try to recoup their losses. This was especially true around 2009 around the market crashes. Audi suffered, Bentley, Porsche, Lambo, etc.... they are all improving though. Even a Porsche Taycan or Macan has better build quality than 99% of cars out there.

It's really obvious when they try to bring a classic model back (NSX, Supra, Camaro) and it's ugly. I get crash standards and material differences, but they try to evoke the magic from the originals in the marketing and it is so disappointing. They got the Mustang and the Challenger pretty close though.

If he wants to feel like he's in a Bentley for Bentley money, why not just buy a Bentley? Porsche have always prioritised driver involvement and track performance. Beyond that there's hypercar manufactures like Pagani, Koenigsegg and Bugatti which use absurd materials and surface finishes though at unobtanium prices.
