often as hell, after his trauma of having to sacrifice his chance to save Vax he created a character with the sole puropse of keeping liams new character alive and then, not so many episodes into that campaign he stays back to fight a god damned dragon more or less on his own to ensure liam and laura get away, consideing to still stay with one god damned hp only leaving after everyone, not even knowing where his health was begged him to leave . . . .

I think that is partly why he played Knott in c2 (beyond Liam picking goblin rogue) he wanted to play a low charisma character so he wouldn't steal the show too much :P

Yooo TP! Thanks man! Yeah you're not kidding adding in the SFX and VFX is sometimes super time consuming but it's very fun, especially if I can pull off what I imagine in my head! I have soooo much to learn not just about crafting VFX and just overall editing skills. It's worth it though! =)

This was such a good scene. And his speech a bit later…Calamity was legit amazing from start to finish better than any one shot CR has ever done no offense but this raised the bar more than anyone really thought possible.

I would like to believe that because Bolo was so strong of spirit and desire to become a reporter like Quay that she found her way to safety...forcefully if needed lol. Or even better, seeing that our dear sweet Bolo was a person of such clear intensity, Elmenore opened a portal for her since Quay bailed on his and now she resides in the Feywild as the Warqueen's personal court reporter =p

Well it makes a good story but the fae would never give up immortality and devotion to their fae queen for mortal. It wasn't lost on me that he just so happened to be crucial to the end of the story. Im almost convinced that these things are.scripted up to a point.

Its a PC... Usually, PCs can play however they want, including as a fae that would give up immortality and devotion to their fae queen for mortals. Its strange to me that you think PCs would _never_ do something...

It is perfectly fine..just a general observation since all the lore about the fey wild the opposite is generally true and the mortal falls for the Faeband becomes trapped in the Fae wild for all eternity, or meets a tragic end. I really wasn't talking about the character choices..just that he just happened to call a held healing g word the turn before the big bad got their 9th level spell off..saving his wife as well as setting the narrative for the conclusion of the story..I mean..it was still a good story but a bit convient that he just happened to be holding the spell at the ready.

@@PaimonsQuill it's also a bit convient that Marishas character would be able to invest a wish spell into the engine thereby ensuring that it works on her death or that the dm made it clear that there was only one guaranteed way to get rid of the big bads..sure lots of acting and improve but you can't tell me that the story wasn't heavily scripted as well.

​@@jeffreyroy5375 Yeah, definitely some scripted stuff on Brennan's part, but its understandable since he only has four episodes to work with and a timeline to maintain. As for Sam's decision to have Loquatius stay, I believe that was his choice. He could've left and gave Loquatius a weaker ending to his story and also be out of the final battle. Brennan would just have to adjust the encounter to make it easier without Loquatius there. Its just weird to me to call Sam's decision scripted, when its totally within his interest for his character and as a player to have Loquatius stay. Its like if a DM sets you up for the LMoP module and you take a step into town and go "Well, screw this place and this party, I wanna leave to another town." Like yeah... I guess you're free to do so, but you're ditching your party, your DM's setup, and the spirit of the game... I wouldn't call it scripted to choose to stay with the group, just a better decision, for everybody.

@@PaimonsQuill I wasn't trying to say sam staying was.scripted..im saying that because of the nature of the story is had to be scripted to a degree. I think the choices where roleplayed and of course any good gamer isn't going to flake out and abandon their party. I loved the story. They where perfect as usual..but as in all acting, there are certain marks that have to be met in order for the story to be told. The downside to these short-term stories is that there are more of those marks to keep the story on track..the secret of the cast is to is to hit those marks without making them obvious.
