Long story short: KZbin wasn't following the rules when it came to children on the internet and advertising to children and got in trouble with the U.S. Government. So they basically had to go with the nuclear option of disabling comments on anything remotely in the children's content category. Steve Purcell was an animator who use to write captions for his brothers comics. His brother eventually gave over the rights to "Sam & Max" to Steve Purcell, who went on to work at LucasArts. He used the animations for their game development engine (S.C.U.M.M.) and use to draw for their monthly flyers and magazines. The people at Lucasarts decided to give him a chance and make a game. So it was a comic first, then a game, then a show, then a series of games again.

Athena Estrada dont worry there is no order. Teltale games have order (season 1 to 3) but none of the other games do. The most are references to this show and older games, but they aren't important. So play them in any order you want. Except the teltale, play those in order. By the way, they need to make a season 4.
