As a hawks supporter I still reckon clarko should have been coaching his last season. Either way Sam's done a pretty good job so far.

I think Clarke did not receive the treatment he deserved, I think Jeff conspired to harm him. Such a shame that arguably the best coach in afl history was treated so,poorly by the Hawthorn football club 😢 Sam is great but it leaves a bitter taste because of how we treated Clarkson. It’s a tarnish on the soul and culture of the club 😢

He will get them out of the rebuild eventually. They are still so young , once they delist/move on a few more players. The young kids will be thriving

yehhh i love him but i think granger barras needs a new home hes not getting what he needs out of hawthorn and vice versa. Gunston left a huge hole we wanted him to stay now our forward lines in pieces. our midfields actually decent though worpel nash and newcombe are firing

As a true hawk id say tanking for last few seasons! You saw what happened last year when clarko said its his last year with 4 rounds to go the beat the 4 best teams with all there backline out! One was a draw with dees who won granny! Sam is not putting best team on the park and alot of that is posistion wise! He is swinging the team all over the place so they cant settle as a group on each line! The backline is settled and is probably the best young backile in league! Most journos agree to that! The forward line is settling but sam is still swinging wingard bruest and omera mitchel ward newcombe moore ect through the midfield and it has no hope of setteling in there part of the system and thats were he is definatly tanking! The future mid is day ward newcombe on the ball! Moore in centre! But we have mitchel omera who are seasoned mids so to play to win both would be on the ball and ward and newcombe in seconds! We also have buttler and mcdonald both mid/forwards playing as well but not in there true places so there is about 8 players being swinged around so cant settle in to same posistion every week! Look at top teams all players play same posistion every week! Thats a team playing to win! Wingard and omera will stay but mitchel and worpal will be traded asap! Worpal in another mid not up to it bit is given games week in week out like its his last chance he has had 3 years now time is up he hardly touches it cant kick its over for him! Is sam tanking yes but at the same time he needs to develope future midfield! They are hunting draft picks only a fool would not no that! We have first pick in mid season draft unless a team below us puts a player on the long term injury list and the first pick is a gun 193cm midfielder and second is a gun ruck/forward! So they will take the mid and put him in seconds and end of season draft id say we get pick 2 to 4 and pick 20 to 22! They will try to trade mitchel and worpal and get another high 20s pick for mitchel and maybe a pick in the 20s to 30s for worpal! Then next year they will be much more settled! As sam keeps saying we are trying to find the best mix(players) that will take us to next cup! Gunston and bruest will finish there careers at hawks teaching the younglings like omera who will stay a hawk! Thats my close observation of hawks going forward and tanking wise! Remember cissily played 3 years in seconds in 13 14 and 15! Was a gun but the the 3peat was happening now we have 18 year olds playing so yes we are tanking!!

Blues rely to much on centre clearence to key forwards! When they do they are the most dangerous in league but your not going to win centre clearence for whole game every week! and when they loose it they look a bit lost! Im sure they are working on it! Hawks win today so they have beaten cats port and lions! Sam had frost our key back up forward and kosi our key forward down back?? I mean why would you do that! And he has 8 different players taking it in turns in the midfield?? Again why! What hawks are better than all clubs is finding players from nobodies! Look at jiath a gun from africa newcome mid season draft bramble just a nobodie in seconds and moore a nobody from seconds! How did they find 4 quality players in one year no trades no high draft picks nothing! Same in 13 14 15 bruest a rookie gunston crows seconds popilo same the list goes on! You cant win cups with just high draft picks and big trades! You have to find the hidden gems and hawks do it decade after decade! So do swans but they were getting alot from acadamy that afl stopped! And the most important thing is winning culture and hawks have it like no other! Only from success! Yes i am a hawk but if i was not and i was at hawks id think im gunna play in a cup you no what i mean! At blues yeah we could but i dont think the culture at blues is as strong as hawks! We won cups in 60s 70s 80s 90s 2000s and 2010s to 2020s! Thats not a fluke! Its a powerful culture/spirit about the jumper! And mostly eyes watching junior level all over the country nobody no's about! In 2 years hawks will be back in top 4 contending! And all teams thay build are powerhouses that win multible cups! Hope ya blues can win one for you its been a while!! I think they can sneak 1 how they are playing but not 2 or 3! They need a complete game to do that! Im sure there working on it!!
