Your voice is so soothing, it’s like spending time with a dear friend. You should be proud of that ukelele, what a beautiful and personal gift 😘❤️

I drift off to sleep every night while listening to Sam read his book. I have read that he thinks he is not comedic but wow is he funny.

Wish I'd seen this during lockdown, but perhaps it wasn't the right time for me to see/hear. Choice of poems is wonderful; the last one caught my throat. Wendy Cope is amazing! I've taken a screenshot of the book to purchase! And your Uke ... it's a thing of beauty. You're very blessed. Thank you for sharing ❤️

Thank you Mr. Neill for balancing the chaos with your brevity and comfort. When the news felt like a wet blanket, your cheeky and subtle humour made me chuckle when I just wanted to go back to bed. Love the poems and the ukulele. PS. you and I were born on the same day. : )

Great poems. I think you do a great “old English” accent. Especially in the first movie I ever saw you in “the jungle book” which me and my father used to watch when I was a kid over and over again! My father is quite ill at the moment with all kinds of complications but when all this is over we would love to visit Two Paddocks. All my best Sam and stay safe

I was always such a great fan of your acting. You were kind enough about 30 years ago to give me your autograph when I stamped your and your partners ticket on your way back to Australia from Christchurch Airport. I was a bit dizzy then.... but now do not have long to live. My husband of 58 years died recently. We had a good life in the country and I knew Queenstown area from the age of 8. Thank you for all the great entertainment you have given me. I liked the the black ship first then my brilliant career. I just wish I liked wine ❤️

This is quite a seductive surprise. No one in the roster of BBC characters was as seductive as "Reilly Ace of Spies.' And lest I sound sophomoric, he still is.

I heard you may be taking requests. Can you do "Get Down with the Sickness" by Disturbed? How about a duet with Tom Hiddleson of "I'm so Lonesome I could Die" ? A reading of "Day is done" by Longfellow would be excellent too.
