Tobey is far from perfect. But he’s more than justified for yelling at the paps. Back then, the paps were insane. They still are. But they were more insane then. If I were him, I would have felt so unsafe in that situation and I think it’s asking too much of him to just sit there and let paps terrorize him. None of us would have been composed in that situation most likely, especially if this sort of thing happened every time we left the house. Theres always the argument of ‘oh they asked to be famous’ and sure… but there’s a line being crossed there and even if he did ‘ask to be famous,’ that doesn’t mean that anyone would feel safe in that situation and we can’t expect him to be the exception because he had the nerve to become an actor.
