I gotta stop watching these, they are so addictive! I've been spacing them out this Sunday, so I can savor them all day, one treat at a time. This is the rich chocolate cake of van building desserts. Thank you, George! One more left, yesss!

Glad you like them!

George, your ingenuity and attention to detail are amazing! I think you have changed and are going to change the manner in which this industry designs, creates and sells vans, (parts, too). The steps are awesome. You know, you have gotten me dreaming about 80/20.

George! Amazing work, such craftsmanship equal to NONE!👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 ! I gotta tell you though, the sound of you zipping and unzipping those screens gave me a good chuckle! It was too funny 😂! You should do a parody of that section of the video.😅 Again, you are the BEST! 👏🏽😌

OMG, did you just Jack Horkheimer your plumbing segment?! Brilliant! *For those not getting the reference, Jack Horkheimer had a little show on PBS for decades where he would tell you about the current night sky. You have the hosting style of Tom Silva. The video segment of Jack Horkheimer. All you need now is some Bob Ross "happy little trees" painted on the side of a van for a PBS trifecta!!

OMG, I wish our old Motorhome had the awning crank so easy to access. Then I might have used the awning. In 18months of travel I deployed the awning less then 10 times. I also love the screens. They look incredibly well designed and built.

I fully agree, wholeheartedly, with the interior matching colors of the window covers. Clever and best place; about the storage for the awning crank.

Brilliant build! I hope I can afford you when I'm ready to build out a van.

Nice info and video. Adding a little innovation to the videos you are. If you find the crank handle clunking around in its holder you might add two small o-rings to the shaft to keep the rattling down. I've also played with a little shrink tube to do the same. Looks good if you make clean parallel cuts. Cheers!

I'm right with you on the window curtains and I really like the interior window cubby space. Love the Vfx, nice.

Beautiful van build. The only minor things I don't really like are the window treatments and the toilet/footrest. These two things look out of place with all the other gorgeous designs.
@just.bob.j2 жыл бұрын
Yup...I love just about everything about this van...but the toilet is a major nope. George is obviously a great van engineer...but the toilet is a very personal item that needs just a little more attention. I wish we had good builders on the East Coast.

This is such a great van. I love how you refine your features more with each build. Any thought to sliders to permanently install those curtains instead of folding them up?
@HumbleRoad3 жыл бұрын
Did curtain rods in van 01. That wasn't't so great either. I'll make good on it, just gonna take a little longer
@howardtennant57663 жыл бұрын
Better solutions could be found for the curtains, stretch curtains attached to a runner top and bottom, your solution would drive me nuts

That rear Rolef should zip from the interior for the screen portion like in a Pleasure Way Tofino

Yeah, we had that discussion, but checked twice and this is installed correctly.

George our cargo trailer is going to ready to pick up in May. Starting the conversation. What cabinet door hinge did you find to work with 80/20. Im using 10 series. Wondering if I will need to re- drill holes to accommodate the slot in the profile. The hinges I’ve seen look to be for 3/4 inch
@HumbleRoad2 жыл бұрын
8020 has hinges for each profile

Could there possibly be sufficient space in the garage for an air compressor and 2 rad mini ebikes?
@HumbleRoad2 жыл бұрын
Yes, we would build to that objective.

OK, so of course I have the Fiama hand-crank action pretty much down pat. (We'll jest leave it there ....)

Running boards look slippery.
@HumbleRoad3 жыл бұрын
Which ones? My custom running boards have rubber treads. They are grippy, the opposite of slippery.
