Hi there. Have you also tried the slim back pad warrior bench model ATX-MBX-760-PU? If so, how do you like it? If you happen to have one, do you find it appropriate at all for chest supported rows, chest supported rear delts, or chest supported biceps? I'm considering that bench as a secondary bench, mostly for chest pressing movements with shoulder health/natural ROM in mind. Thanks! I enjoyed this review. It sure looks like the slim has the exact same frame, just different pad option.

Hey Jared, I will be honest mate I have hardly used one! When we had one in the gym I used to train upstairs on my own on basic cage + bench set up. Just wanted the basics so I could advise people on restricted budgets. So I left the exotic stuff to the other boys here. There used to be the Bamboo Bench - kzbin.info/www/bejne/d3KVeqScZrGJrtU - if you research this, the same applies to the MBX-760. The MBX-760 would be sweet for supported rows too.

@ Right on. I live in the states and ATX will be at an equipment convention, Home Gym Con, in June. I am considering purchasing one of these, if they bring that model again like they did in 2024. I saw it there but didn’t try it out, so curious where it’s useful outside of chest pressing. Thanks for the reply!

could you use the ab attachment to lock your feet in place for lat pulldowns somehow? maybe if you insert it the other way around?

Sorry! I just tried it and it won't work. Not only is the leg locking not the best. It is more that the attachment sticks out at the front. So this would make it hard to get the bench right under the cable.

It is exactly the same bench except for the pad. You can actually swap the pads.

Is it compatible with the ironmaster hyper core attachment that you have in the background?

Sorry I thought I got back to you. It fits, but it doesn't rest in the horizontal position.
