Intercessor means in the Strong's Definition From G1793; an interview that is (specifically) supplication: - intercession prayer. Mediator means Strong's Definition From G3319; a go between that is (simply) an internunciator or (by implication) a reconciler (intercessor): - mediator. For the record, this comment is not about the idea Mr Shamoun conveys but for his way and attitude. Yes, some according to others, have the wrong interpretation and understanding of few or many truths from the Word of God and sometimes, as Mr Shamoun describes, it is indeed quite dangerous. Even in Revelation, The Lord accuses the wrongdoings of the churches. Personally, I do believe all Christian movements have something that needs fixing. In our pursuit of life as Christians, we are to be more and more like Christ, yes? Well, aside the thumbnail of the video, I don't recall Christ having this attitude towards his followers - slamming people as idiots. I don't remember the Holy Spirit leading people into calling other people stupid and/or morons. How can a God-fearing man be constantly repeating that some folks are stupid, especially those who try to look up to Christ? Being daring for The Lord is wonderful and deserves admiration but Im sorry, maybe it is just me but I did not feel any humility thorugh out this teaching. Without humility arrogance is often just around the corner. Do you teach all of us people from around the world through the gifts understanding and knowledge /1 Corinthians 12/ given by the Holy spirit or though your own human power? God is flawless, thorough in everithing, and this fact speaks to me that He will care not only that we send the message and truth He has given us but also how we send it! His Word does describe that "how" in many verses. We are to be very careful not only what we say but also how we say it and how we represent God, because one day we will stand before Him and be held accountable for it! I have watched and listened other videos of Mr Shamoun because he does go deep in the the Word and even tho I dont agree and believe all he says, I do try to be carefull and pay attention / no pun intended / and put things to the test - reading the Word and praying to God for confirmations. It is a fact that I did learn from him for which I am grateful. I want to live in truth! Let all praise and glory be to the Lord! Here are few verses that I personnely believe support what I have written: Matthew 5:22; Matthew 20:16; Luke 18:10; Ephesians 4:29; Proverbs 11:12; Proverbs 12:18; 1 Peter 2:1; Matthew 15:18; 2 Timothy 2:24; Colossians 4:6... and so many more verses portray how we are to speak and expose and teach and represent ourselves as followers of Christ. Jesus definitely would ask people rhetorical questions to prove that they are dumb, or ignorant. Jesus would also call people vipers and snakes. Sam is very kind to people who seek with a sincere heart, but people who come at him or try to corner him, he humbles them, while always praying the lords will be done.
