Thanks again for the game and the start to the campaign. Good to see this from your perspective. Fighting blind sucks. After the initial volleys of RPG area fire, my main worries became running out of ammo, and lack of cover around the objectives. Now that this one is done and daylight is on the way, the power balance will begin to change...

I know! But I´m certain I could have done a little bit better if the game had flares or flashlights. Searchlights, even, that would be cool.

@@gunsalotall the CM games are missing some of the old stuff. They did nightfighting before Infared! I even learned how to adjust Illum rounds and call in coordinated Illumination missions today in the US Army.

I notice it a lot, being a redfor main. I feel that CMSF2 is very bluefor orientated and that the syrians and insurgents are just there to provide fun targets for them blast away with all their cool stuff. I have high hopes for "this year´s" patch. This game could do with an update in many areas.

@@gunsalot CMSF2 is going to get a patch? This is exciting. I agree, even simple basic gear like flares, flashlights, searchlights, mortar flares etc will do a lot to make redfor more viable, and it's stuff that is 100% within the scope and technology of the era for the faction. It's supposed to be asymmetric but that doesn't mean redfor can't make the best of the tech that they would have.

@@HippoBean , alas, the patch was very dissappointing. Something about pbem++++++ and the only redfor fix we got, was for the T-90. A machine I will propably not use much, since the Syrian Army only had a few of those.

It is just I, moving the goalpost. When playing redfor in CMSF2 one often needs to find alternitive reasons to not just run and hide and pray to the gods of war.

this feels more scripted than previous works. Less a battle report more first chapter of a saga written and directed by.... Either way, love it.

Events happen in order. Footage filmed during the action. Narrative script and music added in post production. Some bits were cut out for ease of watching. (Early rounds were calm)

Hi Guns. Thx for another great video of yours :) I'm relatively new to CM. I have CMSF2 and CMBS, but only played af few Singleplayer games. Never had a Multiplayer fight. Would you like to baptize into my first MP? I can only play the allied forces (US and NATO) but evn though the technical gap is big, som is our experience and you might win easily :) Would you like give it a try?

Should do another scenario where its your current Syrian force vs a one or two small elite squads taking out your SAM sites instead. like the Desert Storm SCUD hunter teams.

I don´t know, man. Syrian Reserves have no means of artificial illumination. Not even the trucks can turn on their headlights. I´m looking forward to daybreak in this campaing.
