While I have just come across Sam Smith within the past week - yes, I do not listen to the radio or even listen to this particular genre of music, but I do have to say - holy smokes.....that voice. Not many artists out there can even come close to Sam's pain, his hurt, his passion, his love etc that you can hear within his voice in this song. He seems to be truly down to earth, very humble and very thankful for the success he has been given due to his God given talent. Now, lets hope that some around him do not try to change who he is as an artist. Allow him to be himself and allow his art, his lyrics, to breakthrough to those with hard hearts and his voice can change one's heart - this song is full of so much pain and hurt, that when he breaks into the chorus, I am about to cry because the emotions within his voice, you can feel them as he sings them and that is something that not many artists today can even achieve, but Sam has done that Oops - this comment was originally for Lay Me Down but after I posted the comment, I noticed it was another song but still the comment stands for both tracks - purely amazing and pure power his voice has
