I understand that the way zara acts isnt perfect, but maybe people should think about the reasoning behind it before judging 🤷 ive acted similarly in the past and been told by a psychologist that i have an anxious attachment style due to other things from my past and also some personality disorder issues. Idk i dont particularly like zara but everyone jumping on the hate train is disheartening 🥹 no way i would want my bf meeting with his ex under any circumstances.

The whole reason she was bothered by the event was that she cheated on him beforehand and was projecting her own untrustworthy behavior onto him. I personally wouldn’t catch up with an ex but it bothered her as much as it did because she had a guilty conscience and was worried that he would do what she did to him. It’s psychology 101. She was insecure, untrustworthy and hypocritical. She seems to have redeemed herself since but she had a lot of growing up to do at that point. Btw I wouldn’t be so hard on yourself. If you have trauma you are dealing with, then it’s your and your significant other’s responsibility to honor said trauma. Nobody’s perfect. Everyone is fighting their own private battle. Zara was simply immature and reckless. But at least she learned in the end. I wish you well.

Sam is a complete idiot. If your girlfriend is not comfortable with you being friends with your ex, then cut all ties with the ex. This is the main issue with most of the relationship. If your partner is not comfortable with you having a friendship with someone, cut that person off. Your main priority must be your partner's comfort. Prioritize your partner over anyone and everyone. You must not only cheat on your partner but also not give your partner a chance to doubt that you are cheating. Give attention and take attention only from your partner. Respect your Marriage. Consider your marriage holly. Do not let anyone make comments or plans or decide what is right for your marriage. There is no privacy in marriage because you both are one. No one must be allowed to come in between the two of you. Do not discuss your problems in marriage with your friends or relatives. They are outsiders and can never give you the right suggestions. Go to a MC if your problems are something that cannot be solved between the two of you.
