Hulk brushed Black Widow aside in Avengers 1 and she didn't have a scratch on her. Tony fought Huilk in a suit. Black Widow and Hawkeye fought Aliens and Robots. Serum wouldn't beat a Hulk either, we saw what happened to Blonsky in The Incredible Hulk movie. It seems like Sam is just evading Red and keeping him busy until he overheats or help arrives. If Sam took the serum, it wouldn't stop the complaints. He's black, that's the real issue that people have.

Sam is already literally a special forces soldier, so he’s already trained and skilled. I imagine if he took the serum, he would be OP. I haven't come across much that suggests that this is a racial thing. This isn't a black Steve Rogers. It's Sam Wilson as Captain America. It's accurate. *All-New Captain America #1 (Jan. 2015).* People's whine has been about how he isn't a super soldier. But the real issue here is that this is wasted. Instead of greedily milking the machine for as much temporary cash as they could after End Game with this multiverse nonsense and television show crap, they should have invested in long-term billions by declaring MCU 1 closed. After a few years of planning, re-launch a new book called MCU 2. Sam Wilson could have started as Captain America for that new storyline. Keep certain actors in their roles. Eventually F4 and X-Men join the fray. And boom. Billions. But now? I can't believe people are still looking for anything great from this dead zombie of an MCU.

I always thought in the comic book having Bucky replace Captain America resonated a lot more because of their crazy loooong history back in World War 2 it just made for a more impactful shocking storyline and was very well written in the comics. as well as his transformation from a villain (the winter soldier) to Captain America was very intriguing Also weaving the death of Steve Roger's in there made it shocking as well. Plus because it was so insane that they brought Bucky back sooo many years later. I think it makes a lot of sense as well though for the Falcon to take up the mantle I just don't think that the story in the comics had the same impact as the Bucky one. For me if this new Captain America is well written with a great story then it will stand on its own, And Sam Wilson will indeed be a great replacement! However my faith in Marvel these days isnt what it used to be..

What 4KO isn't mentioning is that even though Cap blocked a strike from Thor in the movie, he had the super soldier serum increasing his strength and can physically run laps around Sam. The same super soldier serum that allows Cap to make complex movements with his shield in order to catch it, something Sam lacks. And if you want to bring Black Panther into the conversation he has the heart shaped herb that allows him to survive free falls from high altitudes. It's not about being racist I just rather see Falcon shine on his own especially as the first African American Marvel superhero, not under the mantle of his white partner. Same can be said about War machine, Rhodie who made a good "temporary" Ironman but he's best known as War machine...a character currently being neglected in favor of Ironheart.
