I'm genuinely losing it watching this. this is what always stands out to me and breaks my heart. I can't believe how much of Sam's story revolves around him not having control of his own body, someone taking it, using it, violating it. just someone else choosing for him. buddy this is fucking me up, I love it.

i haven't watched supernatural in so long, but i remember always being really disturbed by how much sam's bodily autonomy was taken away, and i never saw anyone talking about it. when i did, it would only really mention lucifer, but there's so much more there!! before he was even born, his life was bargained away. and then he was so often used as an (un)holy punching bag by every kind of creature and person for 15 seasons. i'm absolutely wrecked by this, dude. just such incredible work, thank you so much for making and sharing this. i especially loved what you did on the drawn-out "tired" at 2:36, so creative!

Sam is actually a character I can relate to (except without the whole demon blood and his mother dying..) but all I’m gonna say is that it was an amazing video and that I can relate to him because I’m the youngest in my family too and I felt the same way as he did in season two when he watched dean get ripped apart by Lilth’s hellhounds..? But when he said what his greatest sin was is how many times he let dean down.. that’s what got me..because dean loves him.. so for you to include that little part in your video.. 10/10 (Amazing job! THIS IS SO GOOD! sam is tortured so much over the course of the show and a lot of it removes his own autonomy - how estranged must he feel from his own body? it was there since he was 6 months old, even predestined for him!!! auaughghh i feel insane.
