Ashwini Kelkar Yes. Most people on the show always check on Dean. Even when his mom came back the first time, she reached out to Dean more. I guess it’s because he always shows his anger the most. Like I always say, it’s the quiet ones that hurt the most.

Sam was always the best character of the show. The show was always meant to be about the tragic destiny and supernatural powers of Sam, and how Dean who always tried to protect him, realised, he couldn't. It was always about Sam - the chosen child, a strong emotional being who really understood the complexity of morality. The critical thinker and the sweetest soul. In later seasons they tried to ruin Sam in order to elevate Dean, and ad a result, they ruined the show, but Sam was always a gem - not to mention he is an absolutely gorgeous specimen of a man! I mean look at him. One of the most beautiful men I have ever seen and Jared, boy is he something. Lastly, this notion that Sam leaving the family to go to Law school and live a normal life was a sinful act, was an incredibly toxic theme through out the show. Sam lost his mother as a baby, and was raised by a child to combat evil, whilst his father was never even there. These two boys raised themselves and had no one to rely on. John was an awful father in many ways, and Sam saw him for what he was. Dean was constantly in a state of denial, hence why he used alcohol and women as a means to escape the inner turmoil his father created within him. Sam however was aware of the truth, the flaws and faced his father. Sam's awareness as to the problematic issues of the family gave him the strength to leave, because he knew that his family life was problematic, to say the least. Thus, he should have never had to apologise for leaving. Yet they would villainize Sam in the series, for choosing to break away from the toxic cycle of abuse. When Mary Winchester chose to abandon her family for a normal life, she was a hero, when Sam chose to do the same, which ironically, is what his mother wanted for her sons, he was constantly abused for it.

Ok I think one of the most underrated moments is when Sam says that he is going to do the trials and tells dean that he will take him to the light at the end of the tunnel

there you go again, breaking my heart into pieces. sam's been through, so so much. he never knew what peace was. he only knew war since he was a mere child. they all say they know what sam's been through, but no one truly does. everyone dismisses his pains, his struggles, his traumas. sam deserves so much better. he deserves peace.

I know this song for couple of years but I didn't hear this for so long so thank you for bringing this.😉 Yeah it's so sad and beautiful how this song fits to Sam. You know, Dean’s kinda always said that. Back when he made that deal at the end of season two, he told Sam you’re stronger then me. He thought Sam could deal with the pain, bear the grief, that he couldn’t. I’ve always kinda been angry at Dean for that. It was so unfair. But he was always right.
