In 2022, Sama’ started up the Bring Back Beirut fundraising initiative in aid of liquidity crisis-afflicted Lebanon, hosting shows in cities including Paris, London, Berlin, and her adopted home of Beirut. As one of Palestine’s biggest exports, the DJ and producer is now taking the world by storm and is even set to star in a brand new documentary created by a selection of Middle Eastern directors and producers in the coming months.

The poem was written by a well known palestinian poet « Mahmoud darwich » called ‘Beyrouth’ tribute to Lebanon when it had a civil war on that time. Sama and his dad tributed Palestine and the resistance, the poem says: 1:07:06 Even if we are slaughtered on a stone, we will not leave the ditch, Even if we are slaughtered on a stone, we won’t say yes, From our blood to our blood the land’s limit, from our blood to our blood the sky of your eyes, and the fields of your hands, We’re calling you, but the echo reflects a country, We’re calling you, but the echo reflects a cement bridge We, the ones who standing on fire lines, declare the following: We’re not leaving the ditch until the moon goes down, At the beginning, we weren’t even created, At the beginning, the talk way was, And now on the ditch, the pregnancy signs just appeared.. (I have to read more english poems to make a more accurate translation, but it’s not that bad though)
