1. Very important step is that you have to play a lot of time on the normal mode to get acquainted with the difficulties and the environment . That way, you can repeat many different tactics and ideas, dying as much as you want . 2. Remember about finding hide spots . You can find many in my video and with that you can avoid a lot of deaths. Some of them won't protect you but there are some that are 100% safe . Most likely are those where monsters do not fit beacuse they're too big . 3. Remember about small changes added to hardcore that has actually good side . For example you can hear the sound of laughter or roaring etc. when the monster sees you . Of course there are also some difficulties in monsters so watch our for their speed . Make sure you practice a lot of times nightmare mode just like normal . 4. Remember to listen carefully where monsters are . Part 1 , 2 , 3 and 4 monsters can hear so you need to act very carefully especially when you reach 3 part where you have to lit all candles . 5. I do not recommend rushing. Sometimes it's good to just wait for a good moment when monster pass , even if it means it's gonna take you a while . If monster passed or it's far away then take an advantage of that . One small mistake and your hard work might be for nothing . We don't want that. Hope it's gonna help you a bit . I recommend also watch other people and their moves . Perhaps they have other tactics :))
