Hey! I was the same when I was a teenager. It sounds stupid, but the best advice I got was "If you have to throw up, just do it"! Throwing up won't kill you, everybody throws up, the people that may watch you throw up will survive, it's ok!!! What's the worse thing that could happen? Almost always the worst case scenario doesn't happen, I promise you. Your anxiety is a liar.

As someone terrified of the sea and going underwater, when Colby said they needed 5 minutes but only had 3 minutes left, I felt my anxiety spike and I was tearing up. And I'm more scared of what's surrounding me rather than running out of air. So for Colby to keep his cool under all that stress, it really makes me feel a little bit better about my own fear.

My own anxiety went up when they were like “three minutes of air, five minutes till surface” part because I have a major fear of drowning and basically large bodies of water so a reality like that would have me in a full meltdown. But having a calm, outgoing and confident instructor like Keline would make me more at ease. Still wouldn’t go that deep underwater but would wanna try one day if she were my instructor 😂

honestly, hearing Colby talk about his anxiety and being scared of throwing up makes me feel less alone. I have struggled with the feeling of wanting to throw up for the past 2-3 years. Every time i go out it happens, it’s so difficult to be social and live my life when i’m constantly scared of throwing up and needing to find an exit. I haven’t met many people with this specific symptom of anxiety so it’s nice to hear Colby talk about it.

I am right there with you! I have bad anxiety. I immediately get nauseous and never end up throwing up but I get so scared of throwing up. Throwing up is one of my other fears. You’re not alone! ❤️

Ik how you feel I get anxiety just walking out of my house, but I’ve found out just talking to my school counselor about my anxiety has made my anxiety not as bad. So I just recommend talking to people about your anxiety.

I tend to just breathe in and out like 20 times and just start singing songs that I love in my head. singing the lyrics tend to keep my mind away from all my thoughts.

I'm pretty new to watching the channel and I've been going back to watch the older vids. I'm so proud of Colby for facing his fear! And Sam is just right there by his side. They have such a beautiful bond. I was totally crying at the end when the instructor came out as Trans and Sam and Colby were so supportive.
