I just love seeing Hong Kong neighborhoods through your “lenses”. Beautifully composed as always. Enjoyed feeling the ambience and coziness of your home during the storm. So rare to seeing trees in Hong Kong residence.

Hello from Kazakhstan, we were visiting Hong Kong for the entirety of past week with a friend and I genuinely cant believe our trip has coincided with a typhoon warning this large. It was fascinating to see the aftermath and just how quickly the city went back to normal. Love your blog

Watching from NYC. Really enjoyed this vlog! Didn’t know you guys were into vinyl and old jazz! The sound quality from vinyl just can’t be beat. Loved the last guys shop. Just boxes of cool vinyl records, no fancy organization just a “dig through the boxes vibe”…so fun! Scavenger hunt anyone! Glad you guys were safe at home during the typhoon. That would be me; cooking, baking and listening to some cool music! Sometimes that is just the perfect thing! The cake looked delicious! I hope you enjoyed it. ❤

One of the best vlogs yet🥹 I say this every week🫨 the MOST PERFECT music score set to the beautiful scenes, the rain, the street shots, did I mention the music and oh yes the piece de resistance- The Cake - EPIC❤️💯🙌🫶👏

Hi Sam & Victor, I started watching your vlogs prior to my Hong Kong trip back in August, and have stayed subscribed ever since. Always love your aesthetic and relaxing vlogs, can't bear to miss an upload even though my Hong Kong trip has long ended. I would also like to personally thank you for always listing addresses and location names in your vlogs. They are so helpful - I particularly enjoyed the Ocean Terminal Deck & was so happy when I found a halfway coffee shop when I visited, all thanks to your vlogs. I rarely leave comments here on youtube but wanted to take this chance to say take care amidst the typhoon alerts, stay safe!

Love this vlog Sam and Victor. I am a huge music fan and so appreciate you showing the local HK lifestyle and local record stores. HK is one of our favorite spaces in the world. Please sneak in a music/record vlog every once a while. Much love from Los Angeles, sunny Cali. Cheers!!

Re: the vinyl holder. The next LP you guys really gotta get for your collection (if you can find it, good luck) is the soundtrack for 'Betty Blue'. I recommend it to everybody. It suits every season, every time of day or evening. BY FAR one of the greatest movie soundtracks of all time (filled with original scores, not a compilation of curated popular music tracks). I hope you'll look for it on your adventures and then whack it on the turntable and let it play through from start to finish. I wonder if other viewers of yours have this one too? And if so, I wonder what sort of day or night's environment and atmosphere is enhanced by this record? Definition of sultry, blue hour summer.🌦🌌🎼🎶

So nostalgic to walk through old record shops and thanks for the introduction to Sam Cooke, whose voice and movement were ahead of his short lifetime. Rather amused that even the typhoon looks like a cozy rainy afternoon and you are both so brave to defy pasting those typical X masking tape over the glass windows. But anything beats the day and night heatwave sweeping across Singapore.

Love the video. I especially like the part with you in the kitchen … the lighting was perfect. Love the new brown coffee mugs. I felt frustrated for Victor with all those shops being closed or disorganized. Overall thankful to see you two safe from the typhoon

I’ve seen a video clip of a woman standing on the sidewalk during the typhoon. With the strength of the wind, she was blown across the sidewalk and onto the street. She looked fine, but her skin must have been very scraped up. Felt bad for her. Oh wow, that is what I call a cake. Great combo with a glass of milk or coffee if you are lactose intolerant. Glad you made it through the typhoon.
