what confuses me is so many forms of meditation, it has been two years and i haven't been able to choose one .... and you guys keep adding these videos of a new mediation technique every day not you alone many others .. i want to speak to you ..
@SamaneriJayasara3 жыл бұрын
@@anishnair2615 There are no "techniques" per se on offer here Anish. These teachings of the Masters are pure expressions of the Dharma or Truth. If you listen deeply with your heart you will come to realise what they are saying as they gently and compassionately point us back home. They are simply urging us to wake up, to be mindful, alert, let go of our clinging, desires and attachments; to see through the delusory mind/thoughts, be attentive and realise our True Nature - that which is right in front of our very eyes (so to speak), Here and Now. Is that a technique? I think not. If Truth and recognising our natural state becomes a technique, then we are once more back into the striving and achieving mode of our egos. We must simply relinquish these false beliefs and identities and that will naturally take us to Truth - with patience and with a practice that is natural and effortless in its essence. I'm sorry if the material presented here confuses you, but it is more suitable for those who already have a firm grounding and understanding of Dharma, or those who can quickly penetrate to the core through a sublime intuitive understanding. It is not intended at all to be technique based, nor to make anyone clever, magnetic, or successful, nor attain trippy meditative states. There are plenty of those approaches on YT if you are interested though. I suggest if the teachings here are confusing you, then you would be better to just adopt a simple practice for a few years (such as breath awareness and observation) and allow that to deepen your understanding and build your confidence. Sending all good wishes your way 🌺🌺

@@SamaneriJayasara thanks for responding..🙏🏾 very grateful..i wish to get in touch.if you don't mind 🙏🏾 It's not your material it's the plethora of content available online and courses on meditation that have confused me, that's the only issue..

Dear Ashish, there are as many methods as there are people but the outcome is the same. Just the style of teaching is different. Like all the finest subjects in the world, here you will need a Master, this subject is the finest of the finest. The master appears when the student is ready, not in any other case, ever. This is the first subject and it is also the last.

The first thing that strikes me is the rhythmic syllable pattern of the adverb following the noun which is distinct - as well as repetition, rule of three and astounding imagery. But may I say the word choice feels so spot on as if information is being translated to my mind with 100% accuracy. This channel is one of the most astounding hidden gems i've ever discovered! It just makes so much intuitional sense

Upon hearing this along with Devikalottara & a word from papaji, all thoughts have ceased except rarely a slight involuntary ripple of a memory or a subtle hint of imagination. Giving no attention to them they have burned out as well, day by day the silence feels more pronounced. It's like I've vanished, but i can't really say what happened, whatever you've done to me Jayasara thank you, I've never felt such peace

Samaneri Jayasara, do you have any playlist with Mahayanas sutras other than the Vajara cutter Suttra?, Like the golden light sutra and others? It is a treassure your channel with wisdom from Buddha, Advaita Vedanta, Guru Rinpoche, Maister Eckhar and Mystics like Teresa de Avila and St Juan de la Cruz.

The only other Mahayana sutra I have read thus far is the Heart Sutra. I am sure I will do more in the future but it is an intuitive process so I never really know what will present itself and when. Here is the Mahayana playlist for now where I have also read a number of chapters from The Way of the Bodhisattva. kzbin.info/aero/PLWzYrEdlV4O70GJsf4ZoN0NafyA3p4ZuR With all good wishes
