I was there. The sound guy did Samantha dirty. Throughout her entire set, we could barely hear her guitar and her vocals. She was constantly fidgeting with her earbuds because she couldn't hear herself over the bass and the drums. When she came out to play during Warren Haynes' set, we could hear her fine - she's a real talent and we were bummed that the mix on her set was so bad.

@@ericwichmann9536 Yes/// for some crazy reason .. Ms Fish doesn't attract as many concert-goes than she should . I have been to 5 of her shows in Mpls and every fan i talked to were amazed by her skills . She put on a fantastic concert last June 7, 2014 at the Ledge amphitheatre in St. Cloud, MN She opened for the legendary Buddy Guy . He said he was enthralled with her beauty and skills .

Slash better keep up, Samantha Fish will leave him in the dust, lol ! Too bad the mixing engineer screwed up the mix, Fish's vocals buried, and her guitar too faded. Slash does not seem to know the song that well, he is not following Fish's song form cues, although he is soloing using the vocal melody ok. He needs to practice trading licks, that's what the Blues is with multiple guitarists.

Sam & Slash...love it. (That said, our buddy Slash & all the "sling the guitar low 'cuz it "looks cool" players need to adjust their guitar straps. I cringe every time I see them struggle against this really stoopid position.)
