She’s a national act, and can’t get in-ears (like the rest of the universe), or a monitor feed???? This isn’t the only video that’s like that. I’m astonished that she would do a show under those circumstances.

It is mostly the first song that is a train-wreck. The pitch and balance problems are much reduced after that. For whatever reason, on Bulletproof, it indeed sounds like the vocal and guitar are in a different key from the bass and synth. The mix in the in-ear monitors must have been bad for that first song.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE someone take responsibility to record and post video of Samantha Fish with GOOD sound mix, volume fidelity. This video volume level is way too low. and the mix is terrible. PLEASE FIX sound mix and REPOST ! Samantha Fish is greatest guitarist singer performer, beautiful to see and hear. But TOO many of her brilliant live shows on YT here, have terrible sound. SHE and her band - they all deserve respect and best possible sound recording mix and playback. Video audio with that If you get a good video, make _sure_ 3X - that the posted video levels and mix are GOOD> Dont settle for less! Samantha Fish and BAND and FANS all deserve this. Looking forward to your Cardiff performance tour. Surprised you're at not the biggest venue, the Tramshed, very bijoux, close up and personal. From previous experience just make sure gain and volume on drums and bass are not too overpowering. Vocals and lead guitar are well balanced and clear. Total volume not overdone that can create distortion on the high notes. If all is ok, this will be awesome.

I am certain that the house sound had a better feed than the camera - it was my camera and my attention was on the switch and not trying to ferret out the weird feed knowing that I had a system record but that failed and this is all I have of it. I too want for a different mix and all kinds of missing frequencies and dynamics, but I bet that I was getting a wedge mix or side fill or ? ? ? I was not getting the LR

The very dry (no reverb) sound takes some getting used to, to say the least. And sometimes the bass or keyboards are too high in the mix. On the good side, the lyrics are a lot clearer than in the usual stealth recording, and some of the keyboard stuff is interesting.
