That’s the thing I noticed with Samantha. She does a marvelous job but she has to dig in for even her average pronunciations when her introducing someone. And she really has to put in effort for this. I feel like she gets lightheaded on a daily. You can hear the gruffness in her voice. It’s like she overworks it to get even 10% of her effects out.

Anyone else not like Samantha? I feel bad because she’s clearly giving it her all. But I just find her over the top growling to feel forced. If you look at other iconic announcers such as Michael Buffer or Lillian Garcia - their yell feels natural. They have this massive heft to their voice. Whereas Samantha has to make herself purple in the face to get her yelling out. It’s almost too animated. I get she’s beautiful and men like to see a woman getting hyped for their hobby. But I really think she’s a mid ring announcer. Edit: I will give her credit in that she’s a true WWE fan like anyone else. She truly loves being there and that’s really cool. But eh

Seconded. I respect her effort and creativity, but it really is just talking into a microphone. Every wrestling fan ever has been doing their own wrestling announcements since they were kids. It's something almost any of us are capable of doing, she just happens to be the one lucky enough to be doing it now. She's definitely not the worst, but sometimes she just too much, and those times are more often than not.
