Is there any guidelines on what thickness of foil to use? I know you need flux for solder to stick to the copper but do you need flux for second application of solder? Newbie questions. Thanks.

Awesome video, i wish i could add a pic here of a gingerbread man i made at the bottom where i joined the legs, to the bottom of his shirt it was straight line of solder straight across the top of legs & bottom of shirt the stress point just broke off, i dont know why, do you maybe lol😅

you do not speak about remove platina if platina still on you have a big cleanning job to do on your iron after finish

when I put a ring I use paper trombonne and a magnet onther the stain glass project like this noting move also maybe it is a good pratice to add lkittle peace of reenforment at each angle

Oh my, you're absolutely right! This was filmed about 5 years ago and when I watched it back while editing recently, I was wondering why I never took a tracing or rubbing of it. Then later on in the video I actually said that I should have done a tracing, and that's exactly why!

thanks for the vidoe, this happens to me once and a while when i hang a piece in front of a window sometimes the foil breaks.

be carfull to do not heat tooo mich take a mometn 5 min rest and continue or the glass crack also some Desoldering Braid Solder Remove be usefull
