Sammi! You NEED to get a Skipton life time ISA for saving. This goes for anyone in the UK, if you plan on buying in 12 months + time then get one of these and start saving. It's a help to buy scheme and currently the best one out there. They will give you 25% of whatever you put in per year (up to £4000.) You and your partner can have one meaning that you can save up to £8000 a year and end up with £10,000. Obviously you can put more in, but you will only be given the 25% of the first £4K.

Skipton Building society, they are only one who do it currently. Another big tip, watch Martin Lewis' money show or go to his website he always has great tips. For the ISA it is done per tax year. So if you were able to get £4000 in before the end of march then they would give you £1000 , then you would have a full year to the same assuming you did not plan to buy until after April 2020. Hope this helped :)

If you need healthy food inspiration go watch Anna Saccone, she uploads a what I eat every Wednesday. And she always has "naughty" stuff (pls don't call it that, it's not naughty). Basically, live balanced, easiest is a day made up of 80% healthy and 20% whatever you want, chocolate, cake, chips etc. It's healthy and easy to maintain in the long run.
