hey - i dyed my hair from brown to blonde (i am naturally blonde though) and used a purple (aka silver) shampoo. it really helps if you leave it on your hair for about 10 minutes before you rinse it out. don't do it for too long though, my friend left it on for hours and her hair looked like she had a blue rinse on it. just a little tip :) xxxx

I love what you said about the people in mac, they always seem to look down on you! I don't know if it's just me but everytime I go into Topshop I feel like that, they all seem to think they are so much better than you. I work in retail too, they just seem to assume because it's "Topshop" they have every right!

If you want to lighten your hair a bit quicker, mix some peroxide with the shampoo and leave it on your hair for like 10 minutes. I didnt find it very damaging and it gets the results a lot faster!

a brand called Pro:voke makes 'touch of silver shine weekly treatment' for about £3 (available on amazon and in lloyds pharmacys) its a purple treatment shampoo. I have white hair and it does an immense job! your hair looks lush btw xxx

I have macs foundation and concealer (pro longwear both) in same number and concealer becomes MUCH darker after some time. so definitely take a shade or two lighter.
