Congrats! We had the same due dates the 26th and our boys came early. Mine was born Oct. 8 and wasn’t easy either very scary experience compared to my other two kiddos. Had to do an emergency c section and still recovering from that it’s been 2 weeks now so wish you the best as well

C-section was a good move mama. He would’ve split you up 😅 I have two 8 pound babies and they tore me so bad. But I pushed in under 4 pushes to get both out. I went too fast. Oops! Congrats love!!! You’re a real life mama now!!! 🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷🥹🥹🥹 He is sooooooooo cute. Omg 😭😭😭

I had to have a c-section on the 11th for our baby girl. She wouldn't turn head down and I hadn't progressed further than 2cm in a week. So right on her due date my dr sent us up to the hospital and just flat out told us it was going to be a c-section, he's an amazing doctor and doesn't mess around with risks like that. I'm so happy baby girl is here healthy and happy, and that I have such an awesome dr. But after delivering my first vaginally, I'm disappointed I had to deliver via c-section. The experience just isn't the same, and I've noticed a little bit of post partum with this baby just for the fact that one minute I was pregnant and the next I wasn't. So it's been a hard adjustment for my brain to wrap my mind around. Plus not being able to lift or hold my son and the difficulty of just changing our daughter's diaper and outfits has been emotionally rough for me. More so than I thought it would be. I'm a do it myself kinda girl, and it's been really hard for me to have not been able to do more at the hospital to bond with her and watch my family doing all this parenting work to help with my son. Even still I'm feeling much better moving around but I have to remember to still take it easy so I don't tear the stitching or rupture anything.. I'm so happy your baby boy is here safe and healthy as well! Child birth is the most beautiful yet also one of the most dangerous things to go through for both baby and momma. I'm so glad your doctor didn't try to just make you keep going! C-section was definitely a good idea for your situation, in my opinion.
