Samarkhand and Bukhara are the centre of tajik/persian history and culture. Learn more. I cannot understand that all persian think all buildings in central asia were built by persians. Read about Registán, Madrasai Uluğbek was built by Uluğbek (timurid king) and other two Madrasas (Tillakári and Sherdár) were built by uzbeks. I am not panturkist, but normal person should confess the truth.

Like most Eurocentric historians, you are over emphasizing and exaggerating the Greek / Macedonian influence on Central Asia. The truth is that the Greeks / Macedonian became Persians, adopted Persian customs and assimilated. The evidence is that there are no genetic impact of Greeks in the Iranic (Central Asian) worlds. You need to revisit your history and understand that nobody, not even the brutal Arabo-muslims could erase the Iranic cultures of Eurasia
@wewenang5167
@wewenang5167 Жыл бұрын
yeh calling him Eurocentric then you yourself contradict your philosophy by calling the Arab Muslims as brutal. The Arabs was never ever destroyed anything when they invaded Persia, they just absorbed it and its you guys the Persian who converted in mass after Salman Al Farisi a Persian Muslim spread Islam to your own people. The Iranic or Persian culture never gone because the Arabs never erase it in the first place. Go back to the library and read more books.

@@wewenang5167 science don't care about neologism at this point. And yes the Arabs and Muslims were (and still are) very brutal to the Iranic world. And no, neither Greeks, nor Arabs left any significant genetic impact on Iranic populations.

@@wewenang5167 I'll just quote a passage for you written by Ibn-Khaldun, the great Arab historian of the 14th century: "The Arab conquests were as a rule accompanied by a great deal of bloodshed. Their purpose was to destroy and to eradicate, rather than to take prisoners and to acquire booty. The Arabs appeared on the stage of history as a new people with a new faith, and they were filled with an ardent zeal for their religion. They believed that they had a divine mission to carry out, and that it was their duty to convert or to destroy all who opposed them. They had no mercy for those who refused to accept Islam, and they spared neither age nor sex. The result was that in the course of a few years, the greater part of the civilized world was overrun and conquered by these fanatical warriors. Cities were sacked and burned, and the inhabitants were massacred or sold into slavery. The Arabs seemed to take a savage delight in destruction, and they left behind them a trail of ruin and desolation wherever they went."

I still dont why no indian empire took intrest to conquer samarkandh under mauryans and guptas they didn't showed any intrest at all except kushan empire but they came from china and accepted indian culture from then they considered as indian empire but indian born empire have no military role in central asia i wonder why

Indian subcontinent had everything, so they didn't need to go out and conquer other lands. India is larger than half of Europe, we already had so much land and people so why conquer other lands. It was already hard to maintain an empire within India, how they will think about going to other places. All the invaders that came to India, permanently settled here and never left this place because they had everything they wanted here. Religion also played a major role in this because Hindus never forced and believed in converting others to their religion, so there was no religious motivation for them unlike most of the invading empires around the world.
