This is not from the desert but from the banks of Niger River. Cette musique vient des rives du fleuve Niger . C'est la grandeur de L'Empire Songhoye qui retentit..Bravo aux musiciens qui font notre fierte.

This song includes one of my favorite songs by Ali Farka Toure. In this performance, the song starts at 4:51. Samba Toure loves to play it on many occasions perhaps to honor the late Ali Farka Toure. The name of the song is "Takamba" by Ali Farka Toure. Unfortunately, the song is not available on KZbin. It can be found on Amazon, iTunes, Spotify, and other platforms. To get a taste of the song, you can search for Ali Farka's documentary by typing "A visit to Ali Farka Toure" on KZbin and skip to 12 minutes and 25 seconds of the video and I hope you will love it as much as I do.

@@khalenmoore6354 Yes, you're right, the style of this song is Takamba but this song is a blend of different songs. If you listen to Ali Farka Toure's song called "Takamba", you will know what I am talking about. Starting from 4:51, Samba Toure starts playing Ali's song.
